Stick-on felt pads in three assorted pack sizes, or singly. They go under chair legs, cabinet feet and anything else that scrapes a tiled or timber floor.

• Check before ordering: Stick them to a clean, dry, degreased foot. Dust is the usual reason they drop off a week later.
