Chemical Anchor Resin

Two-part resin injected into a drilled hole, then the threaded rod pushed in. It grips the whole wall of the hole instead of wedging against it, which is why it works where an expansion anchor does not.

• Check before ordering: blow and brush the hole clean first — resin will not bond to dust, and that is the reason most resin anchors fail. One nozzle per cartridge, and the resin sets in the nozzle if you stop for long.
