Multi-Way Extension Sockets

Multi-way extension sockets from three to six gangs, in four brands, including surge-protected and individually switched models. They ran as five separate listings; one product now, ordered by number of gangs so the customer picks the size first and the brand second.

• Check before ordering: an extension socket is rated for the total load plugged into it, not per outlet — a 13 A strip is 13 A across all of it, so a heater and a kettle on the same strip is too much. Surge protection is worth it on a computer or a TV, and does nothing for a lamp.
