Hammerite Direct to Rust Hammered Metal Paint

Hammerite Hammered is a metal paint that goes straight onto rusty or bare iron and steel without a separate primer or undercoat. The hammered finish has a textured look that hides small dents, pitting and uneven surfaces, which is why it is the usual choice for old gates, railings and ironwork that will never be perfectly flat again.

Wire-brush off loose rust and flaking paint, degrease, then brush on two coats and leave the time printed on the tin between them. For galvanised, aluminium or other non-ferrous metal use Hammerite Special Metals Primer first.

Ten colours in 250 ml; eight of them also in 750 ml. Silver also comes in a 2.5 L tin.
