Combination Square

Combination squares for marking and checking 90° and 45°, with a sliding rule. The sliding head is what makes it more useful than a fixed square — set it once and mark the same distance from an edge along a whole length.

• Metal body — the 300 mm cast head stays true after being dropped, which the plastic-headed ones do not. If it lives in a van rather than a drawer, buy that one.
