Climax 539 Panoramic Safety Goggles

Climax 539 goggles with a soft PVC frame and a single wraparound acetate lens, sealing against the face rather than sitting in front of it. That closed fit is what glasses cannot do — it stops splashes, dust and grit reaching the eye from underneath or the side. The lens is anti-fog treated and the goggles fit over prescription spectacles.

• Check before ordering: Climax make two versions of the 539: a vented one and a sealed one. They protect against different things, so check which version is in stock before relying on it for fine dust or vapour. The acetate lens is rated for low-energy impact only.
